R.I.P Connor
Connor
This photo is of my hamster Connor,
Whom I loved very much, and
Who was paralyzed .
He was the funniest hamster ever,
though he couldn’t talk.
Every time I’d be eating right next to
him, he’d crawl in my bowl or plate and take my food.
When I was angry, sad, or bitter, He
would be the one to comfort me.
It was a Thursday night, December 11th,
when I noticed that Connor had a tumor below his neck. I grieved and mourned
through that whole night.
“It’s not that big of a deal”, people
constantly said. But it was a huge deal for me.
One evening, On January 10th,
I was at church practicing for a song I had to perform. I got a call from my
mother saying, “Connor’s paralyzed”…
My heart and tears dropped heavily. I
left church to come home to him.
When I entered my house, I opened his
cage and seen him paralyzed and shaking. So I picked him up, Laid in my bed,
and snuggled him in right next to me. I remember telling him,” Your about to be
in a better place baby”.
About 50 minutes later, He turned
yellow and stiff…He was dead and I knew it, so I buried him.
Connor was the best hamster ever. I
miss his furry self in the palm of my hands! I miss the way his cheeks would
get puffy when he’d eat my crackers.
I’ll never forget the hilarious moment
with him
